10* Mississippi State (-9.5) vs LSU---->face it, they were due for a loss, but they are just as good as their record and really, as good as anybody..........now they face a reeling lsu team with their best player "questionable"........however with lloreda's injury being an achille's, it may be worse for them if he tries to play.......miss. state never has a lot of people pick them and their lines are usually about 3 or 4 points less than they should be.......this line is about right but they school beat LSU really really bad here
10* Kent (-4.5) vs. Buffalo--->once again, kent is headed for the tourney and cannot have any bumps along the way..........i do not expect a let down from them after saturday's blowout of creighton, but instead i think they will use that win as a springboard against an average buffalo team who seems to play hard every night........the fact that buffalo is improved and actually is playing well serves to help us here b/c it guarantees kent's interest in the contest
10* Temple (-3.5) vs LaSalle--->The line scares me a little here because lasalle is a below average team playing a temple team 6-2 in its last 8 with both losses being to st. josephs.........i know these 'big 5' games are usually close and i do not expect a blowout but i cannot see lasalle winning either...lasalle is 1-3 straight up in their last 4 home games against similar competition
7* tennessee (+13 ) vs. kentucky-->too many points
7* south carolina (+7) vs florida--->florida does not do well vs. physical teams and continues to give up more open shots than any team in the country
5* charlotte (-4) vs. tcu
5* depaul (+14.5) vs louisville
