You never know just like in nfl. If a team needs a win to get in it don't usually happen. Look at St. Louis this year losing s/u to Detroit. I wouldn't go by that theory. Just my opinion.

      50/50

I explored this angle for several years in a back test about 3 or 4 years ago , and I found no compelling evidence to support such thinking myself.

If anything exisits at all in this thought train its that a team with momentum and talent leans heavy towards this play ( @ home )

        Memphis

According to what you have noted over the years I would assume Notre Dame and maybe Michigan then. Notre Dame is talented is on a roll and at home. Michigan at home not sure about the talent although just beat Wisconsin.

IMO teams that are bubble teams are such because they are average teams. Average teams don't/can't 'RISE' to the occasion. I've seen them lose more than win.

Lucky Leo , N.D. is a positive lean in this situation and Ann Arbor is no easy place to play either .

Actually all three of the teams he mentioned above are in a positive mode with me and can easily put the butter on a roll.

frankb03 , I would counter with a little known fact about bubble-teams , and go so far as to say has anyone here ever charted thier progress in the tourney cause if you have you would have to notice that they put a hurtin on some very good teams year-in-&-year-out. No doubt that most of them are avg. teams at best but there can be circumstances that prevailed that put them at a disadvantage early-on and no longer is in place at the moment.

                GUYS

THANKS FOR THE HELP, I WAS CONCERNED THAT IT REALLY DIDN'T MATTER BUBBLE OR NOT,I FOR ONE THINK ,THEM KNOWING SUCH AS AL,ND,MICH THAT THEY ARE BUBBLE TEAMS. THE FIRE WOULD BURN A LITTLE HOTTER THAN THOSE THAT ARE EITHER IN OR OUT SUCH AS AUBURN WHAT ARE THEY PLAYING FOR?PROVIDENCE (DON'T GET ANY ONE HURT, ALSO GET SOME YOUNG GUNS SOME MORE PLAYING TIME)MICHIGAN STATE SAME THEORY
VERY YOUNG TEAM WHO HAS PLAYED SOME VERY TOUGH TEAMS. I THINK REST WILL BE MORE ON THE SPARTANS MIND.
                GOOD LUCK TO ALL
