i have 3 future picks to make sorry to s ay i have to go against my bud shorty on 2 of them

phillies over 93 big number however i have followed these things pretty close over the years and theses numbers are what they are for a reason phils have the 4th highest win total in all of baseball and unbelievably 2 games higher then the mighty astros with pettite clemens oswalt miller and their lineup.

unde r 83 giants looks wayyyyyyyyyy to easy to go over on this one shortys right when has a bonds team ever been under 500 well it looks to me as if those vegas guys are saying it could be

under marlins 80 here they are predicting actually under 500 for the current chams lost some players gained some but still haVE THAT GREAT PITCHING AND THEIR SAYING 80 THEY KNOW

SOMETHING TO THINK AND TALK ABOUT

      The Giants ..... I agree

I think you are right Poboy ..... the Giants look weak ..... after Schmidt they don't have any pitching to talk of .

I think BB will have a quiet year , just like Sosa after the Cork-talk last year !!!

None of the NL West teams looks too hot , wouldn't be surprised to see the Padres sneak this one with 90 wins .....

        poboy

lets fight............ok, i know it is against all bettorschat etiquette but i am demanding a 1 on 1 fist fight with you immediately

i figure you live in philly, i am in jax, so we will meet in north carolina (i am seriously geographically impaired so if that is not halfway or not on the way, i apologize)

2 of your 3 picks are against mine and i only have 5!!!!!!! as someone whose opinion i really really respect, i can see your logic but bonds has been in the league 16 years and only played on 4 losing teams...........alou has never managed a team with a losing record that had talent..........they added pierzinski and michael tucker!!!!!!!!!!!! it seems you think vegas 'knows something'........ok, night in night out, that theory works but on futures, i think sometimes they do screw up..........granted, over's are always tough b/c of injuries and if bonds gets hurt, i lose the bet, but i can assure you when they set it at 83.5, they do not think bonds will play nearly a full season and with the record looming, i think he will

as to the marlins, i can see your point, they lost a lot and common thought process is that they will become the 'angels' of last year.............with you against it, i may not play it, but i first must get your honest answer to this question--->are you anti-florida b/c of last years penant race when they did your team in????????? i had to get that in there .....but seriously, i do want and value your opinion.........you know that

shorty i have nothing against the marlins as they have a soft spot in my heart because i played them thru the whole playoffs and series against my second favorite team behind the phils and thats the yanks they deserved to beat the phils as when our bullpen needed to save a game jose came in and caused a mesa

Can you guys believe that the Cubs--who have made Vegas so much money on future bets to win the World Series or the NL pennant over the past 50 years--are 3-1 to win the pennant (worst odds of all the NL teams) and 7-1 to win the World Series (third worst odds behind the Yankees and Red Sox)? So much for plunking down $100 at the sportsbook in February, hoping to fly back in October to collect a few stacks. Vegas actually expects Chicago to win this year. Sounds like a jinx to me!

i heard the Tigers are 66...........I know im a HOMER........sorry Homer.........but their weakness last year was not pitching......it was hitting and they added alot of decent hitting..........its a slap in the face to think this team cannot win 70 games (i think they will win many more) but C'mon...........66???? WTF is that shit

I might actually play this number and ive never played a bet that I couldnt collect on within a week at the most

                PEACE

When i first looked at the Giants my first thoughts were the under. I almost played it but they play in a really weak division and that makes a little over .500 very possible. I too don't think there is much after Schmidt, and i also think Bonds will have a down year (by his standards). The Down year and the Division thing offset each other to me and i think this number might be right on the money, give or take a game.
