DJ 12 top 5 finishes in last 16 Rock starts. He won this race last year. DJ with his record at the Rock and good showing at Daytona, winning the shootout and 10th in the 500 will probably have some good value.

Jimmie Johnson 8th and 2nd last year at the Rock

Matt Kenseth 5 straight top 10 of which 4 top 5 at the Rock. Won this race in 2002.

Tony Stewart 6 top 10 in last 8 starts with three straight 4th places finishes at the Rock.

A play against Dale Jr. is in place here. He has no top 10 finishes with his best a 13th. Well off the pace in 4 of 8 career starts at the Rock.

The pole winner has won once at the Rock.

As Wayne posted lots will still depend on qualifying and practices.

Matt Kenseth 5 straight top-10 finishes.

Jimmy Johnson 3 top-10 finishes at Darlington which compares to this track. Which makes 5 of 8 top-10 at rough tracks.

Tony Stewart 5 straight top-10 at this track, none worse than 7th.

        Selections pending qualifying:
        Matt Kenseth
        Jimmy Johnson
        Tony Stewart

        Long shots:
Dale Jarrett won this race last spring.

Ricky Craven six top-5 and nine top-10 in 18 starts

Jamie McMurray won last 3 Busch races at the Rock. In Nextel (Winston) Cup a 5th place finish last spring and was in contention last fall before wrecking.

Jeremy Mayfield driving same car that led 96 laps for 3rd place finish at the Rock last fall.

        Play against:
        DEI Dale Jr and Waltrip
Kevin Harvick 0-6 top-10 at this track. Best finish 14th in the car that was setup for Dale Sr.

FRANKB03, good job of handicapping the Rockingham. You made a little bit of money, better than losing. The reason I asked who everybody liked early in the week, was I am in a contest and the pick has to be in by thursday night. I know it is hard to make a pick early in the week without qualifying, but appreiciate all of your input. I went with DJ today and it just wasn't his day.

                Thanks again
