The Grizz are favored to beat a team that they are 1-9 straight up against in the last 10 meetings? Okay, I'll bite. Memphis is 19-8 against the sprad when revenging a loss versus an opponent this season. Dallas is also only 1-5 against the spread in road games versus division opponents this season. Take the Grizz!

Watch the Rebels bounce back after Sunday's national TV ass kicking at the hands of Missouri. UNLV is 10-3 against the spread when revenging a road loss versus an opponent over the last 3 seasons (they lost earlier in the season at San Diego State). Vegas is also 21-8 against the spread when playing against a team with a winning record in the second half of the season over the last 3 seasons and they are 5-2 against the spread in the last 7 meetings with San Diego State. The Aztecs are also 0-4 against the spread on the road when they are getting less than 10 points. Lay the points here!


2 STAR: Appalachian St (+4) OVER GREENSBORO

Two bad teams here, but I like Appalachian State to get the straight up win. Greensboro is only 1-4 against the spread as a favorite this season. Take the points!


2 STAR: MICHIGAN STATE (-5.5) OVER Purdue

Purdue is only 12-26 against the spread in road games over the last 3 seasons and State is 4-2 against the spread versus Purdue over the last 3 seasons. Lay the points!


1 STAR: Virginia (+10) OVER FLORIDA STATE

FSU has been playing great at home, but I think this is way too many points. Virginia is 3-2 straight up and against the spread versus Florida State over the last 3 seasons. Take the points!


1 STAR: SW MISSOURI ST (-10) OVER Drake

Southwest Missouri State is 25-12 against the spread when playing against a team with a losing record over the last 3 seasons and they are 4-1 against the spread versus Drake over the last 3 seasons. Lay the points here!

A tip in at the buzzer by San Diego State takes away a push and gives me a loss, as does a missed free throw by SW Missouri State. One of those nights. Overall 3-3 down 1/2 a unit. Back to the drawing board, tomorrow looks like a pretty strong card.
