75%+ System Which Applies to Me

Well-it happened again and in a negative way.
My 75% system is this:
Whenever I bet ON a team and lose and then bet AGAINST them in their next game, I lose again(the team wins and co vers.).
Niagara is the culprit today.
In last game I bet on Fairfield giving 12(I should have realized they might looking ahead) and lost(they won but did not cover).
Then today in respect to John and others I bet Niagara(against Fairfield), and although it looked great for a while, we all saw what happened.
Above seems to happen 75% of the time when I switch.
Conversely when I bet against a team and lose(ie.they cover) and then go with that team in their next game, it seems 75%+ of the time they lose and/or don't cover(I was one game too late).
I am wondering if this happens to the rest of you as much as it does with me.

you need to factor in the number of hours of sleep you got before both the first and second games.

It would make all the difference, I'm sure.

Mike Schmidt-You sir are correct.
Maybe if I didn't doze off this afternoon,(including the start of the game) I might have reconsidered playing Niagara at all;thank god though I played it only as a 1*because of my "system."
Some of us require more than 4 hours of sleep to function.
On the other hand judging by the way Niagara played in second half, perhaps if the players had taken Viagara, they might have been more pumped up to play.
What an ad that would be-"If you live in or play for Niagara, and can't perform(two meanings), then take Viagara."

my system spits out a certain # of games each week...........during the week it spits out games for Saturday & on Sautrday it spits out games for therest of the week

while I was fine tuning this system I noticed that teams were covering 45-55%.

so that left 45-55% of teams that didnt cover and after I would just write off those teams I noticed that they covered a at a much greater % their next game out.........hence the UNLV pick since they were a small play last Monday in Utah and they missed so I figured the %'s were in their favor...........I actually would play UNLV again tomorrow night but they are playing a SD St team who the system also tells me to play (when there are 2 plays in the same game I usually just take the points)

What I am trying to say is that I play the same team back 2 back rather than switch and play against them the next time out

Motorcity-that is a great system.
Too many services and others are too quick to bet on or against a team based SOLELY on how the team did in last game.

there is such as thing as

a Progressive bet something to what MCP alludes to. If you got my play on the Gophers vs . Mich you saw I had several asterisks next to them on the +points and even one on the Money Line. Previous two bets I had for them had been losers and close ones at that.....I kept upping the progression until it won actually more than the original bet itself....gets spendy doing it but worth the huge payoff in the end.....that's why I normally don't flop off a team just because they lost their last game...FWIW!! thats only what triggers a team into the system............the game has to be rated and adjusted and quite possbily even passed up for a later date just based on certain gambling trends

I only follow ATS trends to fade them when a system play comes up.

For instance as stupid as it might sound I already have my pool of teams from which I will bet from on Saturday.......sounds ridiculous but its been fairly decent

Actually this proves your a good handicapper who's timing is slightly off. Timing is everything in sports wagering IMHO. Many games of the year that go down also seem to win the game after.
