  • Opinions on W Michigan at Marshall

I have been reading everyone's posts in here this morning. I see Wayne and Shorty both have W Michigan as a play. My question is, does everyone know that Marshall has not lost by 7 points at home in 50 games. The last time it happened was 1-23-99 when they lost 55-63 to Miami Ohio. I know W Michigan has won 6 games in a row/covering 5 ATS in a row also. I got W Michigan averaging 76.8 ppg on the road in conference games with their opponents averaging 66.6ppg against them and Marshall is averaging 68.8 ppg and their opponents are averaging 63.2 ppg against them at Marshall in conference games. I was leaning towards taking Marshall and the points, can anyone tell me why I shouldn't take them? Not arguing with Wayne and Shorty's call, because I know these guys are good handicappers, that's why I'm asking for someone else's opinion! I capped the game at W. Michigan - 4 1/2 pts and feel right now I'm getting 2 1/2 pts of value on the line!

    Thanks Krunch :D :D :D

Krunch-one could say the same thing about pitt. today, which has won 39 straight at site of today's game;if people went strictly by the streaks, no one would bet Connecticut;to coin the old cliche, thats why they call it gambling.

Marshall very tough at home. Always raise their play against big time opponents. I like Marshall plus the points.

          W. Michigan is 9-2 ATS in conference play and even more remarkable 5-0 both SU and ATS as away chalk outscoring opponents by 16.2 PPG.

I'll take a shot with the Away Fav..

Thanks again for your bit of info on Marshall playing to the level of competition! I also took the advice on Pitt winning 30+ in a row at home. Worked out today! Thanks again!
