Question for Wayne?

Since you are the board's arena foots man, I have a question. Do you have an idea of whther most line moves in arena hit? My local has just started posting arena, and never moves. Wondered if you knew what %'s of games favor the move? Thanks...

Today....

Colorado started +3 ended -3 ... Colorado Wins 55-37, Vegas gets beat bad! The total opens at 97 and is bet down to 92.5 .....Public hits BIG again as it lands on 92

Chicago opened at +4/+4.5 and ended at +3. They Win outright and the public cashes in.The total was bet down from 99 to 97 and it went way over. Vegas finally wins one.

N.O.-Indiana ... Not much movement.

L.A. opened at -3 / -3.5 and closed -6/-6.5 and they win by 7. Another big loser in Vegas. The total opened about 107 and was bet down to 103. It went way over and the books get a big hit.

Public goes 4-2 on the BIG line moves today. Again Vegas just can't come close on most of these sides and totals. We just have to find that right side!

Thanks...what are your thoughts on the last move. Examples I played today. He had NY total at 97 1/2 closed at 99, 99 1/2. I hit over. Same with LA. I played over on his 104 1/2 that closed at 106 1/2 some places. Any shot of this being consistent?

I went against 3 of the big line moves and went 2-1

When i was with the big line moves i went 2-0


I guess you still have to pick your spots but you will benefit in the long runs with locked lines!

We have very different numbers i think in some of those games. It doesn't surprise me though because when i'm comparining lines at my books i have some games at -4 at one book and -7 at another. The lines in Arena ball are about as crazy as it gets! You should just look around and pick your spots. You will be able to tell if one of the lines your getting is a bargain.
