ESPN is saying both teams agree in principles, just finalizing the deal....ESPN 2 keeps reporting it on their bottom line
and he agreed to play third

The hold up on the deal is the minor league pitcher and a few other minor details. A-Rod will then play 3B for the Yanks with Jeter staying at Short.
