As far as copyright law goes that is iffy on whether he could win or not. At best he would have a 50% shot and that's because you can't copyright profesional or college team names. Also if they are opinions they cannot be copyright protected.
Whats he going to do go into Court and claim that he promotes gambling and sells plays for people to gamble with?
He also better get to telling all the places that sell service plays then to quit giving out his plays as most all of them do it.
