Rookie Game Total

GV. Nice call on the total. I know the game is not over, but I only played the first half total, because these All Star games can get more defensive in the 4th Quarter, when teams start playing defense if the winning team is in doubt. But, did you know this game dosen't have a 4th Qtr. I had no idea when I played the over that this was only a 40 minute game and not 48. Did you know that.

YES I did know that.....but these are the youngest prima donnas to show their wares to their elders.....I believe a lot of 'savvy' betters may have taken an immediate liking to the under BECAUSE of the low point total in a limited show time game. But they will HATE to play defense of any kind in these games.....it is entertainment for the fans and an "ADVERTISEMENT" for the league to try and gain more with promos like this......JMHO Opinion though and the bet could still go down of course!

GV. Boy, did your reasoning come to the forefront in the last few minutes of the game. They went from very little defense to NO defense. And that is what raised the entertainment level. I still feel somewhat foolish, but sometimes it's OK to be stupid, as long as you know who to coattail. :redfaced: :redfaced: :redfaced:

Now that I look back, 5.35 points per minute were needed tonight in order to go over the 213.5 total. Tomorrow, assuming no real movement on the total, 5.27 points per minute will be needed to go over 252.5. Guess the older players can't run as fast.

GV, it was a very very good night. I also had Manhatten and the Soph's for the full game and hit both my 3 team (football and CBB) parleys. Only went down on S. Miss.

I still have a hard time trying to figure out why so many think playing parleys is foolish. As long as the odds are true, they are a good way of limiting your plays.
