I should have known better than to assume it was over because I have lost a few games just like this.......and it sucks to be on the other side.......that's why I feel sorry for those that had UCLA.

Funny you should ask if I play 4 team parlays.
Usually not; as a matter of fact I hadn't played a parlay at all for at least 15 years or so when I was about nineteen years old.
UNTIL LAST NIGHT THAT IS:
Thanks to a post by Memphis and Homer; I decided to try one for $375 and it won!!........At 12-1; it paid $4500!!
I hedged that wager w/ the Chicago Bulls (+2) for $375 and that won too!!.......I saw Homer and EZ on the Bulls so that was good enough for me!!
A pretty amazing night considering I never wager parlays and I rarely wager pro basketball!!

Thursday, 2-12-04.......FOUR TEAM PARLAY:

St. Marys - 12 (beat Portland 82-63)
Tenn. St - 2.5 (beat E. Illinois 75-68)
E. Wash. - 9 (beat Sacramento St. 83-57)
Ari. St - 4 (beat UCLA 74-62)

I never played that many parlays even when I was younger. But at that time I discovered the "round robin" which is a form of a parlay with a twist. I played a few round robins and at first I thought they were the best thing since cornflakes (lol) because I cashed in on my first two or three...........It's been so long but if I remember correctly the round robin will win on a three teamer even if you just win 2 games. Of course to cash big you have to win all three but you still win something for 2 games.
I thought that was great and cashed a few round robins by winning two of three games each time........I figured maybe I would eventually hit on a three teamer (by winning all three games) and cash big and if not two teams was still a winner.
However, the flip side is if you only win one of three you lose small but if you lose all three.......well I found out the hard way and lost big on all three.
So I decided to stop playing parlays altogether after that; until that straight 4 team parlay last night!!

For those that never played a round robin and are thinking about it: BE CAREFUL AND WATCH THE BIRDIE........because the birdie can bite you!!
