It’s here, it’s officially Super Bowl week!!
After a somewhat different campaign we are set to see another landmark to end the season, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will become the first team to compete for a Super Bowl title in their home stadium. The Raymond James Stadium will play host to the narrative of Patrick Mahomes vs Tom Brady and it looks set to be a scintillating affair.
The Chiefs are looking to win their second straight title of the Mahomes era whilst the Bucs haven’t won it since 2002, that was until a certain Mr Brady arrived looking for this *seventh* championship ring.
The key to the game looks like it will lie with the Bucs defense being able to stop the irresistible offence led by Mahomes. Even when he was out with a concussion against the Browns in the Divisional round they still had enough to win. The Bucs can take hope from the fact they have hit 30+ points in their last six games, this highlights they can potentially keep up with the Chiefs, but a Mahomes-led Chiefs are totally different to anything they have faced so far this season.
If the Bucs have both safeties in Antoine Winfield Jr. and Jordan Whitehead available then it could be one of the all-time great Super Bowl’s – aside from that you have a half-time show from The Weeknd to look forward to!!
