I do this every once in a while b/c i am usually up at this hour doing my research.............

Leo........i have been looking all over for your hockey but for some reason, i have never looked at the members vs. services section b/c i know the members are better.......sort of like watching duke-virginia, may be fun to watch, but we know who will win....but there is your freaking hockey!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i need your hockey! the combo of you and wayne was doing very well for me......i forgot who had columbus today, maybe multiple people but i coattailed, thanks

everyone else--->compared to the rest of you, i do not say good luck nearly enough, nor do i say thank you enough........i think you guys know how i feel ..........when i say i have never had a season like this, i am serious........the plays i post are exclusively mine, but there are so many times like tonight when i liked texas tech and saw ez and homer and another on okla and bet okla.........saving one money is the same thing as winning one money......not to mention b/c of y'all i have completely quit trying to pick ther nba and nhl and now i am even winning in that coattailing everyone

so even though i do not go into all your threads and thank you, you have NO IDEA how appreciative i am!!!!!!! not to mention the fact that i am clueless in the nba and probably have a winning record betting it this year

p.s. homer, once again ( i have mentioned this 4 times now)........lots of people on the lakers and your post in november said never bet on them and i still haven't!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Shorty. Everything you wrote, expressed my feelings exactly and said it better than I could. I don't take for granted the people here I respect enough to coattail and like you, I feel I don't convey that enough. I hope everyone here realizes that I appreciate very much the time and effort all of you spend in making your picks. When I first found this site, I saw the Services thread and stayed to check that out each day. Then I found this thread and after just a few days, I stopped reading the Services thread and have not visited that thread since. All of you here should take that as the surpreme compliment.

Even though I am old enough to be your father and have done OK playing my picks most of the past 25 years, there is always the need to keep learning and thanks to many of you, I have learned some valuable things since I have been here. Wish I was here in November and had seen Homers post saying never to bet on the Lakers. I never would have posted them as my "Gem" tonight. Now that I have heard the same from Savage and Leo, that was my lesson for today. In the past I had good results fading them at home but playing them on the road. And, to be honest, I may do that again in the future if conditions are right again, but for now I am staying away from the Lakers. Lesson learned, as they say.

after two thousand posts I finally have to disagree with something you said ( ) Thats funny dude !

I often find myself at the same end of the stick time and time again , and for the most part it manifests its self in a large amount of hog-wash because of peoples misconception of our purpose here. My purpose (and it is tough) is somewhat selfish and personal and it is to establish women in the work-place and it takes me places that are confontational at moments and I should probably have had a sex change many moons ago (so I could kick the shit out of a few ) but instead became comfortable with who I am because of it .

Thanks is just a small word thrown around by small men & women that holds a mountain of meaning when used correctly and at the right time. It is " we " who owe you a great deal of lattitude for your time trying to explore the power of changing the world , instead of finding it easier to just live in it !

I and most all are guilty of not showing enough kindness to mankind in general , but in this hustle-bussel world of ours its often not a choice of preference but instead one of necessity because of the selfishness of our nature and the me first attitude.

I do see your ability , I do see your need to share , I do notice your kindness , I know whos here to help and whos here to further thier own feable attempt at becoming a enlightned one in this business . I know by the words people peck away at thier keyboards a great deal about them and thier age , education , hormone level ( ) and how commited they are to this .

Its not easy tossing your nuts out on the line , to be scrutinized day in and day out , to be disrespected by idiots , to be holding the responsibility of knowing people could be losing thier welfare check over your opinions and most of all its not easy being decent much less good at this !

Yet you go about doing it anyway and that my friend says volumes about your character and a few others . It is a motely bunch we have here , all opinionated to the max and with extremely different views on how to tackle the day but I wouldnt trade it for a weekend on a island with goldvike ( well maybe :D ) and it has truely furthered my eyesight on taking my shots at Vegas and holding my own in what used to be strictly a mans world.

You ought to leave those *`s alone and just stick with picks cause in the end what you feel bad about is just a pick , nothing more nothing less . And leave to the people who " actually " place " thier money " on it to determine if " they " made a mistake or not and not you !

The posts with front page news and flash-bulbs going off everywhere will more often then not eat ones lunch . And if you dont believe me my friend , scan this board this very night and take a good hard look at those type of predictions .

As stated above , you have solid looks at things and it just a shame you cant walk on water (except in winter of course ) and people have to understand that you where not put here to save them , they have to do that job !
