10* Michigan State (+6.5) vs Illinois----->Thought the line would be 2.5 being that Illinois is 1-4 against similar competition.......their big 10 record is a bit deceiving, as they are 0-2 vs. the good teams in the big 10 (wisconsin, mich. state, purdue and themselves) and has cleaned up against the bottom feeders..........mich. state is doing the same thing they have done the previous 2 years and turned the impossible pre-season record into a good finish........i think michigan state's basketabll team is the mirror of the michigan football team..........ok season, down by a million at minnesota, wins that game and then goes nuts to end the season as now mich. state has had 3 very impressive wins in a row since the minny game (ok, the mich. comparison is a reach)...........but i think mich. state knows if they win this game, they are the favorites to win the big 10 b/c wisconsin's injuries are wayyyyyyyy too much for them to hold on
add to the fact that mich state got embarassed here last year....... overrated illinois team + underrated mich. state team = mich. state (+6.5)
maybe it was that assistant coach at southern illinois that was so good and not bruce weber.............just kidding.....sort of.......i think mich state wins this one
7* Missouri (-5.5) vs Colorado---->my turn to lose with missouri , we have all done this at one time this season, so this is my turn........maybe a 7* with no normal analysis can turn it around
5* Georgia Tech (-4.5) vs UNC---->for the yellow jackets, it is nice to be back home for the first time in 10 days........only home loss was duke which is a game they were in until the very end........back-to-back wins at wake and ga. tech is too much to ask for a UNC team that does not do well on the road (1-3 vs. normal competition)
