anyone have an idea why syracuse is favorite by 8.5 tomm against rutgers..?, i know there at home, but this team is in disarray, im a huge syr fan for the last 10 years.., and this team could not be st peters right now...am i falling in a trap betting against them?

BC's analysis is good............before i look at the lines, part of my handicapping is guessing the lines, and i guessed it to be 9, so i cannot complain.............the seton hall game is a factor as well as the 'syracuse name'....syracuse is one of those teams that gets the benefit of the doubt from oddsmakers so even when they are playing poorly, at home, they will give them more respect.........rutgers is probably a tad better than people think but they do not get much respect from the linesmaker
therefore i do not think it is a trap and i have a 3 star play on rutgers, i just do not post those b/c i hit them at about a 50% clip

As a Rutgers alumn I must admit that this game has L written all over it. Around a week ago another alumn (Thursday night drinking partner MattyG) and I went through the remaining RU schedule and we have been right on thus far.
