One of the trickier weekends to forecast are these new-fangled conference champ tilts, but it's all about a combination of thrilled to be there (baylor, hawaii) and get -ready-for-final-4-positioning. The four schools in the current poll's top 40 (Lsu, OhState, Clemson, Georgia) have two no-brainers winning (OhState, Clemson) while LSU can flex enough muscles to keep the Bulldogs at bay, so best to look for value elsewhere. Baylor has a master at the helm in Ruhle, and enough respect from his troops whereas they can wipe away the then gut-wrenching disappointment of the Okie comeback last month and believe in their winning magic. The Utes have been on cruise control since the Washington State whipping on Sept 28th, but the Ducks have enough firepower to not be embarassed, and figure Herbert needs to shine to get his NFL marketabilty en vogue again. The Rainbows have had a great season under Rolovich and big playmaker McDonald, and they seem to have worked a lot of the mainland kinks out whereas they can come into an arena and pretend its another luau. This matchup in October was Boise 59-37, have no reason to not think another party on the blue carpet is gonna keep the digits rolling!
