I cant even bear to watch even if this guy is legit.

Throwing 8k or 800 or whatever you term a DIME on two games, well I would be a divorced and broke man if I was down those kind of numbers..

My advice- quit and get about 5 second jobs to make it up.

just try to remember it's a marathon, not a sprint. don't expect to get it back anytime soon and after months and months of intelligent, reasonable and conservative gambling, sooner or later you may very well good be in good shape.
a lot of people told you to watch a few people here, see who is doing well and follow them, but bear in mind the law of probability and statistics. if you watch ez and he goes 10-3 in a 13 game stretch, that may not be the best time to jump in as even the best handicappers are going to probably settle in at around 60% (give or take) in the long term so he may be due for a correction over the next few games.
that being said, a stable, conservative plan just exclusively playing ez's games over the long term allocating a predetermined number of units based on his star system should get you 60% (or so) winners over the long term and give you an idea of how much you could and should win over a particular time period. if you try for anymore, you are looking for trouble.
taking some time off never killed anyone either.
in any case, i hope you follow a good plan (with no variations, no discretion) and get on the positive side going forward.
        good luck.

Thanks Club I really appreciate you taking the time to give me some positive feed back. I think what i am going to try and do is keep my self on a strict weekly figure of 25k in either direction if EZ thinks this will be a good idea. I am not varrying, no more parlays no more buying 1/2 points and I will probablly only play EZ games until I get a better feel for everybody. After EZ is done with me he might be able to claim me on his taxes! He just inherited a new best friend.
Wallstreet thank God I don't need 1 second job and my family is well compensated, I put a lot of pressure on my brookers to make me a lot of extra money.
wish I would have know you in June purchased 250,000 shares of DFIB at $2.45 sold out at $4.55

              sounds good.
yes, if you are trying to make money, stay away from parlays. and do not buy points, especially in basketball where the margin of victory can be drastically off the line and the chances of the game ending on that exact number to which or from which you bought the half a point is very small.
there is very little margin of error in positive gambling. do the same thing everyday with ez's picks, never deviate, and you can get in that 60% groove and start to see consistent results over time. start doing crazy shit like parlays and betting someone else's game of the month and you get off that 60% track and start chasing and all hell breaks lose.
of course, that assumes ez stays around 60% (which he should), but that's why they call i gambling.
              good luck.

Golf I wish it was bullshit but you are way off. If you would like I can put you intouch with my bookie, or show you my weekly figures! What would I have to gain by bullshitting about a story like this?

Hey Pappy why do you keep calling out EZWINNERS. If you have something to say to him just put it in his thread. Playing it out in this fashion is not the way to do it. It is not fair to EZ and way out of bounds. Even though I suggested you follow him I did not know you were going to call John out. Not nice. Just remember it is your money and when you place the bet wether it wins or loses its your bet.
                    GL:cool:

Agree with surveyer. John is an excellent capper but don't use him as a crutch. And if he happens to have a couple losses don't use him as the scapegoat. Hope thats not the case but the tone of this thread suggests that. Then again, he might win as usual and we'll all be happy - Good Luck.

Personally I think this topic has been exhausted.
The only sure thing is that by the tone of Pappy's posts and general impression I get, the $185000 lost is not as serious on HIS scale as it would be to the average bettor.
That trade in the stock which netted him 500 K I believe it was in profits tells me that on his scale(and that is the only one that counts) he is a heavy hitter in the market also, and that he can well absorb losses.
I am not saying he doesn't regard sports betting seriously, but I have the sense that whether he wins back the $185000 or loses even more(hopefully not), he can handle it and that it won't change his lifestyle.
This is not a knock on the guy;I am merely stating that I think he is operating on a different level from most of us.
That being said, I hope he has success and that whomever he follows (it looks like ez winners), that he wins back all of his money.
The overall point I am making is that Pappy trying to get back $185000 on his scale is about the same as a more normal betteor down say $5 to 10 K and trying to get it back say with bets from say $100 to maybe $500.
