I need advice on if and how I can hedge a bet. I bet a 4 team parley $30 to win $130 and the first 3 teams won. My forth team is the Kings- money line. Do I bet Denver money line $30 to win $105 or a straight bet on Denver +10 points, say $44 to win $40. That way I may be able to win both bets. I'm torn on which way to go. Any advice? Thanks

bet denver on the money line..........now before you go listen to me, i will tell you i am not a good NBA capper........there are many people here who are, but on strict numbers, i would not do that...........you are better off taking the points and shooting for the middle..............
the likelihood of denver winning the game is very very unlikely

That's exactly what I thought. Thanks alot for the advice Shorty. On a different note, I really like reading your takes on the games. I almost always follow your 10* plays, although not today on BC. I'm from Long Island and just didn't have to heart to go against St. Johns( I know I should have). You, Homer, Wiz, Lewis, Mr City Pimp and all the rest of the great cappers make this a great site. Hopefully by following you guys I'll learn to be a better handicapper. Keep those 10* picks comming. Thanks, AlanComment

i am not a big nba guy, but sacramento only loses about 3 or 4 home games a year , and usually only 1 will be a fluke..........i think i saw them lose to portland in a fluke game and they recently lost to san antonio at home........

Thanks. I put a saver bet (small ) on denver+10. I figured I'd win the money line parley and I was hoping to get the middle also. I put what turned out to be my winnings on Phil +7 1/2, following Homer's system. Ended up -$30 for the day. If Phil & Minn (college) cover I'd have had a great day. Oh well, there's always next time.Comment

i will put money on games homer, wayne, ez, or others like when they are confident but never for a lot..........never know when a team is going to try
