Need Some Real Help!

About 2 months ago I joined a service, BIG MISTAKE, HUGE! I was with a private guy out in vegas for about five years who did good, his best sport was baseball, not good in NFL, but held his own in baskets and college football! My guy passed away this fall!
Because I was not an experienced capper or familar with the different sites I got rail roaded into this service. To date I am down $185,000 of course I am not playing there anymore even though I will remain getting their picks for a full year, I am not interested. I really get confused with all these threads I don't know what to follow. I am not looking for anything for free I just want to deal with an honest person, who I will get a fair shot!
My other question is, are there any honest services out there from what I am hearing and reading it doesn't appear to be so.
When the service threads are posted who should I follow? I find my self playing to many games! or are there any people on this site that are good cappers? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I know I cant make the money over night just would like to get on the right track and start chipping away at it. Please post your response.

You will do MUCH better following people on this board. I posted my record for all sports in a thread a couple days ago and i can promise you that you wouldn't lose $185,000 with them.

JK Sorry not funny but seriously there are many great cappers here.

My advice would be to hang back for about a week and look everyday at the members that post here. When you find someone that you like or feel comfortable following then go with it and you won't be sorry......... Man that's one crazy story you got there. I bet they didn't feel one bit guilty that you lost either, and that just sucks!

They were so bad, I wish I would have faded them but they were playing to many games. My problem is I am a business man I don't have time to stay on these sites and watch everything! Who are some good cappers to follow and in which sports?

I hope you are kidding, i hope this is wayne or homer, or frank, or savage playing a joke on the rest of us............if not, you are just the kind of person this site is made for...........

we hate services, there is no such thing as a reliable service and the guys on this site are just as good or better, and it is free......homer had a record in college football that was about 70% , and that was out of picking over 100 games........a lot of us will post our records on our plays and i assume the moderator BC would not let us lie about what those records are.........

i am not going to prop up myself b/c i am not like that but i do pretty well on my 10* plays (20-8 so far this year).........homer, ezwinners, wayne, lucky leo, poboy (now len capisomething : ), frankb, memphis mafia (she is incredible). wizoardofoz, knockonwood, are all people you could follow and would make out better than services.........i know i am forgetting a lot of good people too on this site, but you can follow for yourself

this is what i did-->i monitored the site for a month back in september than started posting myself in october, ended up with a 29-21 record in college football

you said you do not want anything for free, but we will give you plays for free...........all we want around here is a little humor, some attaboys when we win, and a positive attitude when we lose..........i for one, had a recent 1-6 stretch on my 10* plays and the people here, who i know lost some money playing them, were very very supportive, and helped be bounce right back instead of leaving

you will find that the people here are very very experienced gamblers who have all at one time been screwed by services (usually when we were younger), and have come a long way........

there are still people who follow these losers believeing their bullshit when they say they have a game of the year, which is something they have 4 times a day, or a bail out game, or an inside information game........they are all lies..........i hope this helps you, and if you want a good read on services, go to page 3,4, or 5 on this site and read doc mercers post about the 'SI article from 91"

Guys thanks for the concern, the story is true and I am the idiot who fell into the trapp, no one to blame but my self! I work really hard and it pissed me off to throw my money away like this! I just don't have the time to spend going threw everything, I am meetings a lot of the time. I wish there was someone or a few people I could follow to get me on the right track. I have not won since the middle of December. I know I am not betting right, or disiplined at all. I would love to work with someone who could get me on the right track I really don't know what to do this whole thing has been a disaster for me! Any help would be greatly appreciated!

else has said just watch everyone here and get a feel for it
there's alot of great cappers here..and we all post our records
just get a feel for who your comfortable with and go with it

it's gonna take some time to get that kinda money back ....might not ever..but atleast here you'll never lose that

How many games a day do you like to play?

It really doesn't matter how many games I play, I just hate when they start with the units and % with a ton of games. I like to put nice money on the games usually about 5k and a small parlay. I have wireless E-mail so I can be reached at anytime I just cant start scrolling through each members picks and writing them down, my customers will walk out on me!

I don't want to come off like a d!ck, but there's really no magic wand in sports gambling.

The reason that services bilk so many people of so much money is that people end up blindly following them. If you're not willing to put the time in to even formulate your own opinion on the cappers here on this board (never mind the time it takes to formulate an opinion on a game) perhaps sports betting isn't right for you.

yes everything! no money line CBB and Hockey.
My old guy was great his first play for the week was for 5k if we won we press it, if we won again we shut down +15k for the week, and we never lost more then 10k, the books by me hated me. never chased! Just looking to get some sanity back along with a few dollars!!

Does being able to watch the games you bet on (i.e. nationally televised games) make up a large percentage of the reason you would bet on them or not??
