mrgv about not scoring for 5 minutes tells me that these guys know what the score is and the point spread ade including totals i mentioned something on this board months ago about situations that i was aware of but couldnt go any farther i believe it weas wayne who was talking the other day about the progame where the one team did not score any points in overtime and i will tell you this the world was on the over and it stayed under and i have millions of examples i never complain about it because i believe you live and die by the crook.

a true story many years ago when the 76ers only won 9 games i had only dabbled in this stuff they were playing the knicks who had all the stars w reed w frazier, e monroe etc the 6ers at this point only had like 4 wins and the knicks were in 1st or 2nd place the knicks were favored by 1 pt and instead of charging in onny i thought if that was the case everybody would win i played philly we watched the game and laughed because the 6ers won by more then 20 and and the knicks did not score 80 points air balls galore i mean bill bradley air balls and more then one dont get me wrong i am not complaining because if i did not think they played around i wouldnt do this i have mentioned before that i played college basketball i played for jim maloneyat niagra and jim bow tie phelan at mt st marys and on more then one occasion they told us about being appoached as players by unsavory characters and to walk the other way. i have way too many examples for this to be sloughed off as coincidental and more good then bad so the sour grape theorists can forget it
