If a home team loses a close game at home and goes on the road the following night against a team that has at least one nights rest, bet against that team on the road. Pat Riley always said that this situation is the hardest to overcome in the NBA.
This trend points to the Philly - Boston game.
Boston was down 2 with the ball and :12 seconds remaining. Ricky Davis then turned the ball over and thus they lost by 4 at home. Devastating loss that I am sure Paul Pierce didn't like not having the ball with the game on the line. They turn around tonight and play in Philly.
Philly coming off a home rout of the Lakers (although it was LA's 4th in 5 nights and the night before an OT thriller against L James). Philly had off last night.
Get on Philly (-6) as soon as you can.
