I believe that the Panthers, matchup very well with the Patriots at all of the skill positions in this game. Their physical presence along both the offensive and defensive lines, simply won't allow this team to be intimated.
On special teams play, kickers Adam Vinatieir and John Kasay cancel each other out, as do return-men Troy Brown and Steve Smith. Carolina punter Todd Sauerbrun, is arguably the league's best.
I like Carolina +7, in what should be a very tight final score. The outright win here would be no surprise.
