I think I might have come across something that is worth considering when betting CBB. I'm seeing Home Dogs, or even very small Home Favorites that I like enough to play, covering the first half but not the entire game. It seems the intensity and the home crowd can keep an underdog in the game for the first half, but in the second half the "cream comes to the top" and the home dog gets blown out. I have not tracked this at all, but from the first half plays I have made I recall winning more First Half plays that did not cover the full game than losing First Half plays that did end up covering the entire game. I'm not sure how this works with Road Dogs or even the NBA. Of course many times, winning/losing the first half results in also winning/losing the full game. I'm just looking for any edge that will give us more winners. If you have access to First Half plays, you might want to track this for awhile to see if you think this has merit.
