I honestly think that line is right on the money. If you look they played each other on Jan 14 in Kansas and kansas only won 73-67 at home.
This game is in K State. Kansas also isn't a good road team. Losing to Nevada and Stanford, also a close call with Texas A&M.
I think K State is better then Texas A&M and this is a state rivalry game. Also I feel Home Court is a real big advantage in College Hoops.
This to me looks like a half bait line. Myself I'm staying away from it. But if I was forced to play it. I would take the points and play Kansas State at home.
I won't ever guarantee a play. But, I know that the Spartans will be ready for this game. This is a must win on their run to make the NCAA Tourney. Anything less will be a great disappointment for the school. NIT bid won't cute it.
Also Minnesota isn't a good team like all the other teams State as lost to on the road this year.
They lost to Kansas, UCLA, Syracuse, Wisconsin and Purdue. They actually should have beat Purdue in the last game and blow it in the end.
This Game should be like the Northwestern game where State controlled the game the whole time.
I love taking home-dogs, especially in "in-state-rivalries" My lean was toward K State too. Also i read this about Minnesotta today, not sure if you knew about it"...one of starting Gs just quit team, and he was playing 31 minutes a game..."
i love mich state today, going against HOME DOG, but mich st is really the better team.
