Connecticut vs Marshall

Analysis
Both teams are similar when you look at them statistically on defense. However, Connecticut has struggled vs a few of the better QBs they have faced. Most recently, PJ Walker of Temple and Gunner Kiel of Cincinnati a few weeks back. They have had success vs teams who have had to use a backup QB. Marshall goes for just over 400 yds pg combined offense. Freshman QB Chase Litton has had a good season with 22 TDs and only 7 picks.
Marshall has scored at least 27 points in 9 of their games. UConn has scored 27 points in a game twice all year, once vs a horrible UCF team and the Huskies average less that 18 ppg while Marshall scores nearly 33 ppg. Connecticut passed for 10 TDs all season, tied for 8th fewest in the country. Marshall has the edge in the rushing attack as well with just over 2000 yards on the ground while Connecticut had the 13th lowest total rushing yards in the nation.
Marshall gets about 1 more sack per game. While neither team turns the ball over a lot, Marshall is in the top 10 in the nation in fumble recoveries and UConn ranks in the top 20 in INT's on defense. But, again, UConn has struggled vs productive QBs.
Marshall won both games they played in the state of Florida this year. UConn was 1-1 but that win was vs UCF as I mentioned early.
I have little confidence in Connecticut's offense. I just think Marshall is a little better in too many facets of the game.
