That’s made even funnier by the knowledge that he and another veteran so-called “leader” Derrick Coleman are no-shows for many practices and when they are present just tend to go through the motions. These are the reasons I flat-out despise most of the teams and players in the NBA. Tonight they welcome in a Nets team that’s played over in 6 of 9 games and 11 of their last 13 following 1 or more consecutive games going under the total. The Nets laid waste to the Toronto Raptors after getting spanked by the Kings on their home floor and have exceeded the century mark in 6 of their last 9 games. The Sixers last 5 opponents have outscored the Philly boys 106-100 and in their last 4 games at First Union all 4 have exceeded the total with each opponent scoring 103 or more. They’ve played over the total in 16 of 21 in Januar! y.
