Thursday was just a bad day. Let's turn it around today with 3 solid plays.
Washington State vs Oregon
I feel bad for the Cougars in this one. The last time that Oregon played on this field they were crushed 62-20 by Utah. The Cougars are 5-0 ATS the last 5 in this series, but also have lost the last 8 by 29 ppg. Last year the Ducks won by just 7 and I feel that they will have the plenty motivated for this one. The Washington State offense is strong, but I don’t feel that they will put up enough points to get the Cover in this game and we also note that Washington State is just 1-13 ATS in a conference road game off a road game if they are dogs of 6 or more. Looking into my crystal ball I see a final of 55-28 here.

Connecticut vs Central Florida
Here is another game that just screams low scoring affair. The UConn Huskies have the 123rd ranked offense in the nation and they have scored just 15.8 ppg, which is 126th out of 128 teams. This is not a good offensive team, but they do have a very good defense as they come in allowing just 344 ypg and 19.8 ppg on the year. Bob Diaco knows how to coach defense. That’s for sure. On the other side we have a UCF squad that has struggled a little on defense, but their offense is just as bad as that of UConn’s as they come in dead last in the nation in total offense and 124th in scoring, putting up just 16.2 ppg. This game pits two of the worst offenses in the nation against each other and that will not result in a lot of points being scored.
