Kansas vs Iowa State
Not often that Iowa State is this big a favorite vs a Big 12 opponent, but believe me it is warranted as the Kansas Jayhawks are a bad football team. Kansas is 0-3 on the year and has lost to South Dakota State at home and by 33 at home to Memphis, while also losing by 13 at Rutgers last week in a game that wasn’t all that close as they allowed 513 yards in the game and were outgained by 171 yards. Iowa State comes in at 1-2 on the year, but they were able to beat their FCS foe and even though they lost at Toledo last week in OT, they still outgained the Rockets by 172 yards in the game. Defense is where the Cyclones clearly have an edge here as they have allowed just 362 ypg and 22.7 ppg, while the Jayhawks have given up 542 ypg and 41 ppg. The last time these teams played here Iowa State won 34-0 and they have revenge for a 20 point road loss to Kansas last year on their minds. Kansas will show just how bad they are here by getting blown out in this one.

Alabama vs Georgia
Both of these teams are solid offensive teams, but both do run more than they pass and that will keep the clock moving. Both teams are also excellent defense teams as well, which will also keep the scoring down. Alabama normally struggles on defense vs uptempo teams, but I see them having a good game vs the Dawgs in this one, while Georgia’s stout defense should have a good showing vs a very inconsistent Alabama offense. This one should be a tight defensive Battle.
