New Poster here. Let's get some winners Tonight and Tomorrow night.
Louisiana Tech vs Western Kentucky
Tonight I am looking for some points to be scored in this game. Last year the teams put up 69 points, with La Tech scoring 59 of them. It was the worst offensive game of the year for a WKU squad that averaged 44.4 ppg last year. This offense will be strong again and should come very close to averaging what they did a year ago. They did struggle on offense in their opener, but that was on the road vs an SEC defense and now they are at home vs a Conference USA defense. Big difference there, so WKU will put up plenty of points in this one.
LA Tech has 7 starters back on offense and while they're breaking in a new QB, hat B is Jeff Driskel, who transferred from Florida. He did take on FCS opponent Southern in his first start and worked his way nicely into this offense as he hit 12 of 15 passes for 274 yards and 4 TDs in their 62-15 blowout win. This is an offense that will be very dangerous once again and tonight they face a defense that allowed 39.9 ppg a year ago.
I love high scoring games and this one has the makings of one. Both teams run that no huddle attack and that means plenty of chances for two very good offenses to put points on the Board.

Utah State Aggies vs Utah Utes
Defense looks like it is the key in this game. Both of these offenses really struggled in their opening games, while both of the defenses were very good. That is a recipe for a low scoring game and i expect that here. The Utes defense may be the 2nd best in the Pac-12 as they have 7 starers back and plenty of depth on that side of the ball. They did a good holding down Michigan's offense and they should have the same success vs the Aggies. Utah is not a strong offensive squad and are a very conservative offensive squad, which should allow a very solid Aggie defense to hold them in check as well. This game has just too much defense on the field to think that they can get to 45 points. I say it stays in the 30s.
