Hi MM. I really respect your college basketball handicaping. I only wish that I could be half as good as you. I wanted to ask you about todays games. First, I liked St. Peters over Marist. They are the better team and at home. What am I missing? Also, do you have any opinion on Conn/Pitt or OK/Tex Tech? UConn rarely ****** a big number and I'm leaning toward OK plus 7 1/2. I'd welcome your comments. Thanks.

aaonli , I dont always win by no means and you will find I dont always take the better team also . St. Peters is a better club rather at home or not but I try to find spots that will benifit travelers and it just so happens this was one of them because of the Metro Atlantic`s make-up and current trends ( remember with trends [ identify them early , abandon them fast ] is my motto ) and Marist is a good bet as the year goes by because of all ( 7 including 5 freshmen ) the new faces on thier club. Projected at 6th this year conference wise and St. Peters at 7th , I find value where the books dont and try to anticipate thier shortcomings . This may not be the one of course because last time I checked St. Pete was up by 8 , but it wasnt over either !

Time tells all and never is a single game the judge of a season , but I cant let myself always be swayed by the better club in certain spots .

Stop wishing and make it so by hard work and always question yourself . By that I guess I mean never agree with yourself , always question why you arrive at decisions cause that alone will not allow you to settle into ruts (mind-wise) that kills a gamblers ability to find what others dont . I work hard at this and fail often but the gratitude of finding a upset gives me great pleasure and then I ask myself " what did I do different this time , what did I see "

Hope this somewhat explains why I do goofy things but like the Panthers , finding them at + 550 to win the NFC championship made my day !

right you are savage 1 , I am having a math breakdown tonight and was putting dye on my hair ( dont you say a word ) while catching scores and on the phone plus having heating problems in my kennels and my babys are cold (-2 tonight ) and the list could go on and on . and on top of that you caught me cheating ( ) but I will forgive you because I have far greater problems tonight then this stuff .
