My 12-2 cfb run ended with a 1-1 Wednesday, with the loss being a savage beat on a 2* play on Western Kentucky. Both games below were originally posted last week and while each line has moved about a half point, both plays are solid at current lines.
4* College Football Game of the Year USC -6 1/2
1) The Pac 12 was very strong this year while the Big 10 was weak
2) Nebraska is a mess. Pelini has been fired, a coordinator who will not be retained is coaching the game, the entire staff is job hunting and several players have criticized the Pelini firing.
3) USC is rebuilding its program, had a very good year and Coach Sarkisian has stated this game is critical to set the tone for a title run in 2015. They are well motivated.
4) Cody Kessler is the best QB in America nobody has heard of: 36 TDs and only 4 picks!
5) USC's offense is hot, ending the season with 151 points in four games, including 49 vs. Notre Dame.
6) Nebraska played only three good teams all year (Wisconsin, Michigan State and Minnesota) and lost to all of them.
7) The game is in San Diego, a short trip for USC, which has been able to practice at home.

NOTE: For the last several years, my Game of the Year has always been a bowl game as the bowls are my strength, the horrid finish in W Kent-C Mich notwithstanding.
