This is my first time posting here, but I'll tell you I was 4-0 in the NBA last night. One huge play on NY, one strong play on Sac, and two small plays on Indy & Wash. I know it can't be verified, but I'll be the first to admit I went 0-2 on Thursday (losing NJ by 1/2 point was a killer).
Anyway, I have one huge game and one fairly strong play.
I love Utah at home -7.5 vs. Cleveland. The Jazz have covered 5 straight games at home, with an average winning margin of just under 15. Cleveland, on the other hand, is exhausted. They're finishing a brutal road trip the last 6 games and 10 days that has taken them from Toronto to Boston to the West Coast. If Utah puts Kirilenko on Lebron, he can shut him down. I look for this one to be over by the end of the 3rd quarter. Other than the Knicks last night, this might be my strongest play of the year so far.
The other game I like is Dallas +1.5 at Portland. The Mavs are without Steve Nash tonight, but I don't think it's going to matter. I know about Dallas' struggles on the road this year, but they have won and covered their last two road games against the Knicks and a very solid Denver club. Portland, on the other hand, has lost 3 straight to teams that aren't very good: Phoenix, Clippers and Toronto. With Rasheed Wallace likely on the bench again, I look for the Mavs to get some revenge from their last trip to Portland. Take the Mavs and the points.
