I agree JT. I talk to a few friends here more than I do my own family. It's tough to know what words to say to you but all I can say is I'm sorry for your loss of a good friend and he meant a lot to this site and to a lot of people. And you do too!!! Thanks for being his friend and thank you for being mine.

Gentleman-- that is what My Dear Friend was. Yes, I will miss this man more than you will ever know. I was banned once and Kapt., Spark, and Jimmy all came to my aid and I was reinstated. Yes, I did smart off, but they still were there for me! Not long after that we all met at Fat Tuesday's, and after that visit we bonded. Jimmy, Kapt., Spark and I would all keep in touch and still do! I would love to see this forum become a tribute to Jimmy and the Kapt. Let's make it the best ever--that's all Kapt.ever wanted. Please, anyone who would like to come to Fat Tuesday's you are always welcome. God bless each and everyone of my Betters Chat brothers!! If you are ever close, call me on my cell please--just don't give my number out!!!!! 601-260-0871 LOL call me if you like!!

      JT--love y'all, that's Southern-talk for "all of you guys" !!

Me and my son stayed with Longnex and his wife when the Cards went to the Sugar Bowl in New Orleans.
While in New Orleans met with Baseball Dave, great guys and great friends.

Been to Vegas with Kaz and Nex, met all of them here
JT, because of this site, I have been fortunate to meet JC, Longnex and Dimer on I have known Rock 33 for many years. Longnex (Daryl) and Rock33 (Mike) and I live within 5 miles of each other. I met JC when Connor, JC's son, and he came to the Sugar Bowl. We went to a Hornets game together and ate seafood together and had a blast. I bring a baseball team to Cooperstown and Dimer comes and watches my team play, we go eat, and I kick his butt in putt-putt lol !!
Because of this site, I text KB, Vols, and Club many times a week. I also text Spark and Jimmy and I use to text almost daily. Kaptain and I emailed about twice a month and we talked about the grandkids and how much fun they are.

I consider these guys my personal friends and I am blessed to have met them.

JT, I know that Spark, Kapt, Jimmy and you got to meet and I wish I would have been in town to be there. You are a very blessed man to have met these guys.
Karl, aka Kaptain, was a fine man and will be sorely missed.

I feel for those, like you JT, that got to know him well. He will always be in your heart and the memories will never fade.

Guys, there are a few on this site, and I am not going to mention names, that are constantly fighting over what are very trivial things in the grand scheme of life, and death - politics, religion, etc. - and these are arguments that can't be won and are not worth fighting over.

With the passing of Jimmy, Chunger, Kaptain, etc., maybe we can realize how fortunate we are to still be able to chat on the internet, be friends, and don't let the trivial things that you can't win get to you. Its just not worth it. Don't even get into arguments that NOBODY wins. It really is just not worth it.

JT, I am going to take you up on your offer soon and I will convince Longnex to come with me and we will make a visit to Mississippi and have some of that fine food of yours !!!
