Pathetic Panthers

The panthers are feeble. How can they win with that scrub at QB? They can't. Philly will put 8 in the box and force that hick to beat them. The philly secondary can cover those ancient scab receivers one on one all day. Rodney Peete may see some action when that virtual rookie QB melts down and losses the game for the carolina cats. I was on the Panthers last week but i just don't see it again. I think Jake will face one Blitz after another and i also believe him trying to make quick reads will force himself into at least 2 picks against a VERY talented and healthy secondary. I know Philly has not been good against the run but i think Davis not being 100% will hurt them. Yes i like Foster but i like a healthy Davis a little more. I really feel the Panthers pass rush will also work right into McNabb's game plan too as it will force him out of the pocket where he is very dangerous running. It's a nice run and story but it doesn't "usually" happen overnight for anyone in the NFL and i think Philly has earned their stripes and it's time. Carolina will have many good years ahead and this will be there first step to getting there in the future.


I just can't see Jake outplaying Donovan on the road in this game.

i see a close game..let them come with the blitz
and then carolina can jam it down the middle
i see carolina having a huge day for rushing yards and alot of time off the clock
there front four is great there's a good chance McNabb is gonna have a hard time with the pressure they bring...they're fast and I'm not sure McNabb can run from them
they're a whole lot better than G.B

What's different from the first game they played when Phil. Won by 9 @ Carolina?

Delhomme threw for 216 with 2 TD'S and 0 Picks

McNabb threw for only 182 with a TD and a Pick..... And only had 6 rushing yards

Westbrook played but only had 2 punt returns for 11 yards and 64 yards rushing with 0 Td's and a fumble.

S. Smith and M. Muhammad both scored a Td and S. Davis ran for 115 yards.


Carolina played a GREAT game at Home and all their key players on offense had a BIG day......................... and they still lost by 9!

McNabb will play better and run more. Staley will do just fine at RB and J. Delhomme, S. Davis,S. Smith, and M. Muhammad will probably all have a tough time matching those numbers from the first meeting.

Carolina struggles against mobile QB's and feasts on the one's that hang in the pocket (example: Rams). In games vs. McNair,McNabb,Carter,Banks and Vick they are 1-5 SU Losing those 5 by an average of 9 pts.

Not to make this a color issue but to me this is kind of interesting. They have struggled against QB's of color going 3-5 SU (1-3 away) beating A Brooks twice and Q Carter once. They lost to Carter,
Vick,Banks,McNair, and McNabb.

They are 10-0 against White QB's

Let's see 10-0 & 3-5 for a 13-5 record.....HMMMMMM, am i the only one that thinks this is interesting??

I for one don't think that's a coincidence and it's something to think about.

in that game kasay missed 3 chip shot field goals and an extra point, im on carolina with the points, the panthers have nothing to play for, they are not suppose to be here (just like the marlins), why for the eagles it's their last chance at the superbowl...

why such a lock?

the panthers have a younger team on defense, and their defense can match up with eagles any day. The panthers can run the ball, the biggest fault of the eagles is stopping the run. And honestly, the eagles can not run except for mcnabb, which won't have time to move around and run. I take mcnab vs delhomme as a slight advantage to the eagles. Mcnabb star is so bright because the packers defense coordiantor blew it, that's why he was fired, how can a guy who threw 2 decent passes all day get all the credit!!....if the eagles do win, it will not win by more than a field goal.


i bet u as much as u want, screw the 4, i'll take 3'1/2 to the bank!
