I have not posted much as my picks have not been real good so far this year, but here is a play I absolutely love.
Duke -3
Syracuse ranks 13th in the ACC in time of possession, scoring offense, scoring TD's, Total offense, rushing TD's and pass efficiency. They have been in the red zone 29 times all year coming away with only 11 TD's and 13 FG's. Syracuse does have a solid run D, but rank 13th in the ACC in pass D efficiency and dead last in completion % allowing 66.5% of passes to be completed.
Duke has a very balanced offensive attack. They will use 4 RB's and 2 QB's that have averaged 212.3 yards rushing per game. Boone has thrown for 12 TD's with only 3 Int's this year and over the last 3 games has 5 Td's, no picks and a 65% completion rate. The passing game should open up the running game to stay balanced. The OL for Duke has only given up 4 sacks all year and Duke is 1st in the nation in allowing least tackles for a loss. The special teams units for Duke is outstanding. PK is 11-11 in FG and 35-35 on extra points. The punter is 3rd in ACC with 44.5 yard average. Listen for the name Devon Edwards in the return game. He is 1st in the ACC in kick return average, returned 2 kicks for TD's last year and one last week vs Pitt.
And the most important stat is that Duke is 2-0 all time vs Syracuse. Oh, never mind that one, last game was played in 1939
