NBA System Play for Thursday.....
Cashed in the Rockets last night, lets see if we can keep it going tonight with.........
3 STAR: GOLDEN STATE (-5) OVER Cleveland
This line stood out to me as being very high, as the Warriors have really been in a funk, winning only once in their last ten games. But I look for them to get a big win here at home against the Cavs who are coming in off of an upset road win at Seattle. The majority of Golden State's recent losses have been on the road, they are still a pretty good team at home, where they have posted an 11-7 straight up record, opposed to Cleveland's road mark of 3-18 straight up. Straight up records don't usually mean much when we are wagering on a point spread, but in this series it does hold some weight. The team that has won straight up is in the last ten meetings between these two teams is 10-0 against the spread, and the home team has won 9 of the last 10 meetings! This is a tough spot for the Cavs, playing their fifth game of a six game road trip and and third game in four nights. The Warriors are coming off of a 17 point loss at Utah on Tuesday in a game where they only scored 80 points, they should have a very good offensive showing tonight as they are 7-2 against the spread this year after scoring 85 points or less and 6-3 against the spread after losing a game by 10 points or more. Cleveland is also only 14-32 against the spread in road games off an upset win as an underdog since 1996 and 1-7 against the spread in road games when playing against a team with a losing record this season.
