I don't know if banning guests will really alleviate the problem altogether. Someone could simply register an account, so they can read all of the posts as normal. It might weed a few out, true, but at peak times there still may be slowdowns. I know BettorsChat is working on getting everything taken care of soon.

Thanks for the love. I will say again for those regulars who wish to receive my plays via e-mail, just let me know. That way if the site is bogged down, you will still get the plays. I have a regular list I send to and I know it saved Casheasy today. I'm working my ass off getting him plays and he is getting pissed up! Hope you made a killing today and didn't get too drunk.

Making the site open only to registered members would reduce peak hour traffic to a small extent.

More importantly, it would allow for some "pirate control" in screening out those who use the information, offered on this site, on other sites (perhaps in running their own paid service).

Yes, I said that it would probably help a little, but I can't believe that it would completely take care of the problem. I'm sure BettorsChat is taking everything into consideration and will make sure that the best solution is put into place to keep the forum up and running smoothly. Thanks for all of the suggestions!
