I've just started looking the day over but I already think the Angels might be a better play on the ML tonight. I'm actually considering the Mariners right now but I'm certainly not sold on them yet.
The Angels are in but they haven't won the division. They've still got a lot to play for. As hot as they are, they're probably a pretty high percentage play any day. I don't think they have Pujols' bat tonight, though. I'm waiting to see if he plays before I decide. If he doesn't, I probably will play the Ms.
You know, Josh Hamilton is back in the lineup tomorrow and I wonder what that's going to do. The Halos sure haven't missed him and he wasn't hitting anything before he got hurt anyway. His return could cost runs in games.
I know it's not on the list but I wouldn't be surprised to see Phillies/Padres go over 6.5.
Mets' Colon trending towards the over vs. bad teams
New York Mets starter Bartolo Colon is trending towards the over when he takes the mound against teams on the wrong side of .500.
The over is 8-0 in Colon's last eight starts against teams with a losing record and that's exactly who they'll face when they host the Miami Marlins Tuesday night.
The Washington Nationals have been pounding right-handed pitching on the road, evidenced by the Over going 7-1-1 in the Nats' last nine games against righties away from Nationals Park.
Washington visits the Atlanta Braves at Turner Field Tuesday, where they'll face off against Braves right-hander Aaron Harang. The Nationals will counter with Tanner Rourk.
The Nats are currently -120 faves with a total of seven.
