For some reason, in the past, when I post em, I lose em. The second half of the season has been okay for me, though, so let's try it.

I like underdogs, mild faves and the occasional total. It's the tricky part of the year, though, and bettors don't always have a lot of choices late in the season.

It was an honest loss. de Grom threw a great game into the 7th. The Mets still could have gotten the win if their first reliever hadn't given up 3 runs on 4 hits. Nobody could have anticipated that when handicapping the game.

I would say that it's time to lay off the Angels until the playoffs start.
