  • Big Time College Local Winner

Hello all--Ive been watching here for about a month, but for some reason my account just got activated, so this is my first real post, and I think it is a good one.--Check this out and I hope everyone enjoys

Tonight my friends and I (home for winter break in KC) are headed up to Lawrence to watch KU and my KSU Cats.

I thought this line would be in the 20's, and it is only 14.5!!

KU is going to murder KSU tonight.

Most sights dont have it listed, but KSU 2 best freshmen are out. Cartier Martin, our starting 3 man is out, and our first guard off the bench, Dez Willingham is out as well.

I saw the game at Allen last year and KSU played great, and lost by 22. THe game in Manhattan, KSU was leading by 3 at half and still lost by 15.

The key is Miles and Giddens, KSU guards are weak and KU will push on them all night.

--the toughest road game this inexperienced KSU team has played is at UMKC and they LOST BY 40!!!!

Pound KU -14.5 and if anyone here does teasers, KU is a near lock on a 10 point!!!

Also really like Marquette +6 at home against Cincy who is giving way too much, just bc they have been hammering shat teams.

    So,

    I love KU -14.5

    Marquette +6

    and I like---

Purdue -2 (just like in football, homecourt is huge in the Big 10)
    OVER 121 Wisky and Purdue

    Maryland -2

    Nebraska -6

    GL to all, opinions welcome!!

Thanks for the post. Have fun at the game!
NSA's NBA Game Of The Year was on Dallas -4.5 on March 31. Orlando won 108-99. It was a cloudy day for Sonny LaFouchi.

          Thanks dudes-

I feel like I can get a really good read on a lot of KU and KSU games, b/c

          1. I grew up here in OVerland park, KS, 20 mins from Lawrence, and even though I was never a big KU fan, all my friends were and I go to a shit ton of games.

          2. I go to KSU- I can tell when there will be a big crowd, and Manhattan is the kind of place where you can really get a feel for the city and the school-

I like to think I can cap the Big 12 pretty well for a 21 year old...

welcome, and great write-up, you took most
of the words right of of my keyboard.
As you can tell, these guys/gals here
like to get local feed on the local games.
            Personaly I like the 1st half -8 a little
better than the game, now at -15.5
good luck, and by the way
the next time I play golf at Eagles Bend
your driving, I cant make it in less than 40 mins.:D
            G-luck

              Ive played Eagles once B4-trap-

That is far west Lawrence, also I live in OP , which is southwest KC--so only 20 mins to get to L-town!!

So pumped Chiefs ditched Robinson--who is next you think?

Gunther? I like Al McGinnis, though I dont know his D skills--players love him and I think KC just needs someone the D can rally around!!

                Throwing in my 2 cents.

I am a KU Grad and I like KU tonight BUT, I am not playing them tonight for TWO reasons.

KU too has injuries. Padgett is out with a stress fracture in his foot and Miles injured his ankle this week in practice but will play. On top of that, Langford has had the flu recently I saw in the paper. Michael Lee is in his first game back coming off the bench and I expect him to be a little rusty from the broken collarbone.

I wish you the best and hope the streak hits 27 games tonight and KU pounds them.

If our big men get in foul trouble (either Simien or Graves) then we have Niang and Moody (who is a walk on) to fill out our front court.

I think the loss of KSU's top freshmen will hurt, but KSU is a good defensive unit and KU's weakness is their outside game. Hopefully, KU can pound it inside all night against the undersized Hayden and crew.

                Rock Chalk!!!!!

Agree, I think it will have to be someone the
D-fence can rally with, and around.
I think Gunther could do the job, and do
it well, but would he be accepted?
Would like to be a fly on the wall
                  at the interview.:D
                  G-luck

I've lived in McPherson Kansas for 12 years, close to Montana Mike's in the downtown core if anyone is familiar with the area.....I know KSU very well and what this man is saying is true....I'm on the hawks bigtime tonite.

                    Good Luck

                          Here you have it
Youve got a KSU wildcat (aplous) betting
on the jayhawks, and a KU jayhawk (rockchalk)
giving the wildcats "D" a little pat on the back.
