This team has struggled with Sunday's starter

The Texas Rangers are a dismal 0-9 in Nicholas Martinez's previous nine starts.

Martinez has made 14 starts and is 1-8 with a 5.31 ERA and 1.65 WHIP on the season.

He'll be on the mound as the Rangers visit the Houston Astros at Minute Maid Park Sunday afternoon. The Rangers are currently +137 underdogs for the game.


Twins ice cold against A's in the Golden State

O.co Coliseum has not been friendly territory for the Minnesota Twins as of late. In Minny's last 12 trips to Oakland, the A's are a red-hot 11-1.

Stewart won't race at Watkins Glen after fatal crash

According to ESPN, Tony Stewart will not participate at Watkins Glen Sunday.

Stewart's car struck and killed sprint car driver Kevin Ward, Jr. at Canandaigua Motorsports Park Saturday evening.

Originally, Stewart had intended to race Sunday, but Greg Zipadelli, competition director for Stewart-Haas racing, made the announcement that Stewart would not race earlier Sunday morning.
