Yesterday was nothing short of pitiful! Poor White Sox starter Sale goes 7+ innings giving up no runs and he exits with a 4-0 lead. His bull pen (or lack there of) surrenders 5 runs in the next 4 outs. Brutal loss.
Cleveland has bases loaded in the bottom of the 10th with one out and cant scratch a run for the win, another shitty loss.
Ok, done whining, no one gives a fuck anyways. Either win your wagers or stfu and don't bitch about losses. That's gambling and that is certainly how baseball works when you wager on it.
953 Philly +1.5 -115
957 Pitt -103
961 W Sox +135
974 Balt -110
Philly is playing well and quite frankly i don't know how or why the Brewers should be -200 to anyone with there pitching staff. I like Philly to win the game but without knowing for sure if Braun will play I will bite on the +1.5 runs to give me a little comfort. Gomez hasn't hit the ball worth a fuck in a month, Segura has been useless all year, and Davis has been hurt and pretty inconsistent with his bat for more than 2 weeks now. With the possibility of no Braun i wont be afraid of this batting order versus anyone right now. Pretty much Lucroy is the only consistent bat they have currently that scares me when Braun isn't playing, Gomez use to, but like i said, he aint been worth a broke dick in a month.
The pirates pitcher Volquez has been brilliant in his last 3 starts, 21 innings surrendering only 2 earned runs while sporting a 2-1 strike out to walk ratio. Conversely, Miller has been just dreadful his last 3 starts, 13 innings, 12 earned runs and he has walked more than he has fanned. I will take the hot pitcher here and hope that McCutcheon and the Pirates light Shelby up today.
W Sox. I stand by what i said yesterday, the Redsox are pitiful and got lucky as hell to win yesterday, I will gladly take plus money and bet against them every game. I may lose this game, but I will end up on the positive in the long run. Boston Weak should be this teams slogan!
Baltimore... dead wrong on my handicapping of yesterdays game. Today, I don't have faith in Gio to handle this lineup like he handle the pitiful Cubs his last 2 starts. Since his trip to the DL Gio has been back to face the Cubs twice, the Astros, and the Brew Crew. That isn't exactly murderers row, I look for Gio to look more like he looked prior to his stint on the DL and i look for the O's to win this game laying the short juice.
Just my thoughts on these games, best of luck on all your wagers today.
