    Savage,

I will be back after a lunch run, but that is what I hate about RB..nothing but longs and morons on that site..if you are short or consider selling you get bashed.

Same exact story for the FIBR board..back in the same time your OPTV story was happening (I remember that stock) people were talking monthly splits and 500 a share on almost any stock..goes to show you what a bunch of idiots little guys can be..

What I found most on sites like that is people take their positions too personally..I dont do that anymore it is hard but I try not to..

Will see you a bit later, maybe the last 45 min of trading..

I dont have that kind of story from 4 to 50, but I have had the reverse before..options on a stock that expired and a few days later my expired options would be worth 10X what I paid..on MANU..lol

    See you a bit later.

Damn it FIBR hitting HOD and I didnt get any..

    More later

Wallstreet-Re: my actv(iatv) story, I must shoulder a lot fo the blame also.
No one made me hold the shares when it hit 50 and no one told me I couldn't sell once the downward spiral began;I was just stubborn.
Once stock plummeted to 20, my ex-wife sold her shares;I sure wish I had done the same and saved some of the profit.
ps you are entirely right about chatboards;if anyone says stock is overvalued, he is attacked and called a basher.
Also, I bought options(usually calls) for years and lost my ass;the odds are against you in the same way that bookie has the edge over the bettor.
I gave that up 4 or 5 years ago;I did have some luck selling calls but have not done that in a while either;you stated some good reasons why in a previous post.

            Savage,

I did the same as you...lost my a$$ buying long calls..I would win less than I did betting on sports..and that isnt so hot.

I like going back to Raging Bull($hit) and rubbing it in the nose of people on that board (FIBR) I was always long and this was back when it was 80 bucks. They did a 20 for 1 Reverse split, so that would be like at 1,600 today. I actually owned this stock at 1,600..unreal..anyway, back then I would tell people that I thought current managment was stupid and blew $$$ and opportunity and that they should be wary of their shares..be careful and sell if the market says to..man I was hated, bashed, ignored all that crap..it is great fun to come back and kick them in the stomach for how horribly they treated a few of us smart investors. I was never short..never, but since I wasnt a mega bull I was short..

I prefer Yahoo boards, you get a better cross section of people, but even there are tons of bashers and idiots..

I didnt get back in time, didnt get my stock but that is ok, NT did fine, LU is kicking a$$ for you and all is well..lol

Maybe another day or two on IVAN, lets see how much she drops...oh and I love seeing SUNW drop. I dont know why but they are on my hated list..lol

Also to those thinking about HLIT, dont do it..earnings next week, wait it out..it isnt wise buying around earnings (Yahoo sure bounced nicely!)

And nice job to whomever that WRLS holder was..great day for the stock.

            NGEN rocking after hours..very sweet!

Wallstreet-I don't think that even Memphis Mafia could show a profit in the long run buying calls.
I read and post on Raging Bull and Yahoo on stocks I own(posting name is elysse1kittycat);as here I usually ask for advice and opinions but also rely on my own judgment.
Keep an eye on cln;that is my biggest holding in my speculative stocks as far as number of shares(believe me its nothing compared to the folks who own hundreds of thousands of shares of some of these stocks).
ps Glad to see your stocks are doing well.

                Savage,

I have CLN on my daily streamer usually..man that move back to 1.40 was a good opp, now at 1.60. I think you are looking good on it and I would like to add on a dip..

JNPR crushed earnings..I am trying to pick up some MRVC in after hours. I think their news will rise the boats of other network and optic stocks..

Man getting JNPR in the 7 range was so money..like SONS at .25 last year..lol

edit) Savage, you know why LU is rising in AH right? You can thank your favorite friend, Jim Cramer. He mentioned that LU is a big customer of JNPR and that they benefit large from JNPR and their increase in revenue and profits. Stock to the races after that comment.

                        WRLS

Thanks for the bump. Fear and inexperience led to 50% sell, but riding 500 all the way for now. May reposition back up. Talk of somthing good in Feb. This one could go for a year. Was it you that mentioned (ALTI)? Can't get that one out of my mind.

                          Xxxout,

Yep.. ALTI from my list...its a semi NANO..but not a pure NANO play..but if the sector gets a bump, it seems to and being 3 and change it is a cheap way of getting in..

A note on the group.. NGEN might be on sale tomorrow..they announced a 5M shelf filing, meaning the company can sell up to 5M shares when it wants..as a percentage of the float it is large, but I think it is a non event.. so if it goes down tomorrow, keep your eye on it.

This market likes network and wireless stocks.. I think we buy on dips with the strong names and make a nice return..
