I can't believe the Netherlands pulled that shit out!!!

At the 87 minute mark Mexico was up 1-0 and I counted the Netherlands and the over as a loss. I knew a goal by the Netherlands wouldn't do much because 1-1 at the end of regulation and I still lose both ,,,,,,, but once they scored I was praying for a miracle and something crazy to happen in extra time to get the win on one or both if the right team scores. And then the penalty shot. I couldn't believe it. I thought Mexico was going to do what scared me in this game and that was get a lead and sit on it. They certainly tried but in the end both came through. Crazy!

We certainly pulled that one out of the air. I am like you, I had written that one as a loss.

          6/29

Using the Alternative line for another late play. I have used the Alternative lines a few times in the Tourney and sometimes you see some nice ones. This is one I like!

Well ...... both games had very dramatic endings. One went my way and one did not. I knew Costa Rica was in trouble when they went down a man but I thought they were going to get through it. Oh well, it was still another positive day (3-1) for the 3rd day in a row.

About 90 seconds too late Germany. Fuck!

At least the win it all wager is still alive. Not that I feel great about that right now.

They are no more draws pal. One team will win and move on

I think I am done playing totals. They are killing me right now. There is no scoring anymore in regulation than they go crazy in extra time. Fuck!

                                7/4

                                (30-35) -40.50

Just a couple observations from the "Knockout Round". In the 8 games played, 5 of them went to the 30 minute added extra time. In those 8 games they only averaged a total of 1.37 goals per game in regulation and ALL 8 games went Under the total. That tells me that teams were playing defense 1st and very tight. Nobody wanted to make that mistake. In extra time though nobody wanted to have their hopes rely on penalty shots and they knew even if they gave up a goal that they still played the whole 30 minutes and could come back. There were a ton of goals and offense in the extra time.

It is tough to just blindly go with unders from here because the 8 teams left are very capable of scoring. Your guess is as good as mine though on whether or not they will press forward and try to do that.

With these matchups I truly believe any of the 8 are capable of winning their game today and tomorrow. Assuming many will be close, I will play both games today for a draw in regulation. Considering 5 of 8 have gone that way, I only need 1 to make a good profit at those prices. I will also place a smaller amount on both overs. The prices are both on the + side and after 8 straight unders, one has to go over right? If one does and one doesn't, you still make a profit there too. All 4 plays are regulation time only!

                                10* France/Germany (Draw) +205 (12:00 PM)

                                10* Brazil/Columbia (Draw) +260 (4:00 PM)

                                3* "OVER" (2.5) France/Germany +130 (12:00 PM)

                                3* "OVER" (2.5) Brazil/Columbia +120 (4:00 PM)
