Wow I can't believe how bitter that owner was. Never saw that side of the guy. Even though he may be right, not the time or place to be a sore loser and have sour grapes. You knew that was happening going in to this race and it happens every single year. That is why it is so damn hard to win the Triple Crown. I couldn't believe that interview and I thought he made himself look really bad there. I think many of us wanted to see him win it but c'mon man!!!!

He didn't have enough points to qualify for the Derby so running here was the cowardly thing to do.

C'mon, if he didn't have the points to qualify, he didn't have the points. And if he is then allowed to race in the Belmont, you can't blame the horse or owner for that. I would too. That owner quite honestly just pissed me off. He turned a 10,000 horse in to millions and people wanted Chrome to win because they all loved the owners too. That was a really, really, bad look for him IMO. Be gracious in the loss just like your jockey was asshole. Damn I really dislike that guy now!!!

Chrome did finish tied for 4th and was beaten by 3 other horses. The owner really acted down to earth and showed a little of this attitude before the derby. Some reporter asked him about the 3 million offer from someone to buy chrome and he said no way in hell would I sell him to a guy that has never worked a day in his life. I thought then when things go bad he could turn Kayne at any moment.

Don't know if you saw any of the DAP comments after the Preakness saying Churchill could take a lesson from the folks at Pimlico, but I think he taught the folks at Pimlico what Churchill already knew, that your DUMB ASS PARTNERS name is truly appropriate. So this fantastic animal is going for a straight up payday of over 6 million and this dumb ass thinks it should be simple/easy. What a absolute classless and not yet ready for prime time owner.
