I've stated this many times on this site. It's not a statistical fact but an observation. It seems short-term teams compensate for injuries. Also, Vegas adjusts the lines for injuries. Players such as Shaq and Duncan the line is adjusted by 6-8 points.

thx HOMER, some CHRONIE at Joes office was like he didnt care that the line moved from PK to -2.5 so I played for a nickel just for the VALUE and the fact that DALLAS has been getting kicked around lately by some good teams, I just didnt see the KNICKS doing it and they had them smoked but they let up which made me scared
