Baseball can be really tough at times. It is a grind for 6 straight months with a full slate of games 7 days a week for the most part. Sometimes it can take you 2 1/2 months to build up to +25 or +30 units on the season and in 3-4 ice cold days you look up and you are down -23 units. It definitely punches back at times. When things are going good you feel like you are going to win everything. Your teams can go down 3 or 4 runs and you just know they will come back, and they do. When you are going cold you feel comfortable about no lead when watching a game. You just assume an 8 run lead isn't enough because something will go wrong and it does. Like last night with the Reds. After days like that you feel like no matter who you take, they are going to lose. Cold streaks have never scared me away. They leave me a little less confident when capping games but I know it only takes one good day to turn the momentum again. Hopefully it happens soon. Changing things up today to see if I can change my luck a little. I stopped posting the trends when I was hot. Now that I am not, they are back!
