Kapt, I think the word Gutsy can come off in a somewhat condescending tone about the pick. I doubt you insinuated that he pulled a "lucky" winner but I can see where it can be taken like that. If the game doesn't end 83-80 I assume you don't make the comment about it being too close to call since the line was 4. All BIG picks take guts.

thanks for answering me JC..........glad to know someone else saw it the way I did..........I couldn't read anything negative in those posts, and yes my friend, you're right, negativity, smart ass comments, inducing trouble comments, etc., have been scarce, if not non existent, and it sure is nice..........

by "GUTSY", I referred too the fact Hawaii was 17-7, Fullerton 8-15 and Hawaii had played a stronger schedule........

He himself, stated after the game, he didn't think Hawaii was that good..........

Then your statement re, "If the game doesn't end 83-80, meaning after the game was over, I wouldn't have said too close to call.............

well I didn't play it, so I must have thought it was too close to call before the game started.........

Re ALL big plays take guts, I know I put enough of em out there..........

I even told him he saw something I didn't see, meaning, I liked the other side, and complimented him on it.....

anytime a team that wins 71 % of their games, against a tougher schedule than a team that wins 29% of their games, and getting just 4 1/2 pts, taking the UD, I do indeed call that gutsy..........

it worked out fine for him, and I'm glad to see him or anyone else win...........

Couldn't agree with you more. No need for the comment. Anybody that Caps and gambles on a regular basis knows how games go from a 1/2 point win to a 1/2 point loss even though it's obvious what the ride side is. Gotta always play the %'s if you want to be successful. I personally was on Hawaii so I wasn't too pleased with the result but good for Jsandlin for the win. We can't all be on the same side. I lost my GOY on Kentucky and I know you had Florida so we obviously saw that as a different outcome. I was feeling really good until Florida went on an 11-1 run late in 2nd half but that's Basketball. I had Oakland -1.5 yesterday and they give it all up with less than 3 to play. No hard feelings from me here. I will continue to follow your plays and hope we are on the same side majority of the time. I will post when I can but you will never see me tout my picks.
