  • 2/9 Sunday Spearditions (best dang plays)

Not my best days these last two days. Asking for a win now anyways
I just think I need to reassemble the basics when I cap,
forget the hype, forget the slap, and get this 48 hour monkey off my back.

Some may say that there's just rust in that fellas gears
I don't think I can follow him- just don't want to be arrears.
But, he has some clever ways about him and some peculiar ideas
Maybe watch and see if he hits or if it is all smoke and mirrors

    POD 805 New Orleans Pelicans/Brooklyn Nets Over 193 -118*

    806 Brrrrrrrrooklyn -4 (bought the 1/2 point)

    Team Parlay
    805 New Orleans Pelicans/Brooklyn Nets 1st Half Over 95½ -110*
806 Brooklyn Nets 1st Half -155* vs New

Why Spear? - Well our favorite Ref is on tap today. 32-7 O/U on plays. 14-3 O/U in the 190's range.
Stats favor (an over on offense and defense is above Vegas play) It's solid as they come and should get us a cover.

Game 805-806: New Orleans at Brooklyn (6:00 p.m. EST)
Dunkel Ratings: New Orleans 115.448; Brooklyn 124.152
    Dunkel Line & Total: Brooklyn by 8 1/2; 200
Vegas Line & Total: Brooklyn by 5; 194
    Dunkel Pick: Brooklyn (-5); Over

    Trends
    NBA NEW ORLEANS at BROOKLYN
Play On - Home favorites of 2 to 5.5 points vs. the first half line (BROOKLYN) in a game involving two poor defensive teams (98-102 PPG), after a loss by 10 points or more
    96-50 since 1997. ( 65.8% 41.0 units )
    6-2 this year. ( 75.0% 3.8 units )

    NBA NEW ORLEANS at BROOKLYN
Play Against - Road underdogs (NEW ORLEANS) good shooting team (45.5-47.5%) against an poor defensive team (45.5-47.5%), good ball handling team (<=14.5 TO) vs. an average pressure defense (14.5-16.5 TO) after 42+ games
    84-42 since 1997. ( 66.7% 37.8 units )
    1-1 this year. ( 50.0% -0.1 units )

That's the best I can do. Its now up to you. Prices may go up as a hot capper is on Brooklyn as well, so jump on if you like.

            Note:
Sorry to those that followed. I can't cap when a team like the Pelicans plays less than one point a minute in the first half. Or Brooklyn taking out the first string and using all reserves when it has a big lead. They are old and Garnett got bloodied. When my good ref can send the reserves to the foul line and you see 4 straight clunkers and more- I gave up. Sad to say but these games have worn down a lot of teams. Saw it with Chicago, Brooklyn the other night and again last night.
I could see the win for Brooklyn but not the way this played out. Thought I had it capped right. There just isn't anything but an under play on em from here on out.
---Placed to much emphasis on this game and could not see the starters taken out for a second straight game. Again no more overs for Brooklyn for me.
There are other teams such as Chicago, San Antonio that have gone to reserves and will give up the minutes to starting players to play the B team. Unders will rule from here on out. I don't care who the ref is. Its about the ability to line up every game and come to play, or so I thought. No, its about getting your starters out the first chance you get where ever that opportunity exists! I am awake now.
